Working young

Similar to  kids in inner cities in the United States, kids in developing countries around the world are forced to grow up fast.  Not because they want to, but because they have to.  In Cambodia, it isn’t unusual to see young kids minding their parents’ shops, often at the expense of school.  When a family’s entire income and well being depends on their business, it becomes the entire family’s responsibility to pitch in and keep it going.  Kind of puts a different spin on family business, doesn’t it?
