A fresh perspective on inspiration

If you look closely, you’ll see 3 different forms of transportation in this photo. Hard to imagine how an elephant, a bicyclist, and a motorbiker could peacefully coexist on any street in the Western world. Yet in the developing world, it isn’t unusual to see all of this plus pedestrians, cars, and jury-rigged transports like tuk-tuks all sharing the same road, with very few incidents or mishaps. Despite the absence of traffic cops or lights or stop signs! Contrast that with the road-rage that is all too common on streets that only handle cars. The amazing diversity of transportation forces people to be more tolerant and patient. What’s interesting is how this tolerance seems to spill over into other aspects of their lives, even when they’re off the road. Seems to be a lesson here!
