A fresh perspective on inspiration

New York City is arguably the streetball capital of the world. On any given day, you can find pick up games being played on the city streets. You’ll hear calls of “I got next” and “you ain’t got no game” in between the noise of squeaky sneakers on the courts and sirens going by on the streets.
The difference between street ball and non-street ball is you better come prepared to be fouled and by all means, bring your “A” game. If you don’t pay attention to these two rules, the rest of the players and fans will be sure to show their displeasure with jabs, taunts and heckling. In the inner city, if you don’t like something, you call it out. The city can be tough on the weak but the strong are always applauded. For those that are neither weak nor strong but give it their all, people will always respect the effort. This tough and at times unforgiving environment gives a competitive advantage to those that grow up here, over others.
