The love of the game

This shoeless soccer goalie plays for the love of the game.  The idea of professional athletes being motivated solely by money is a silly one.  Money and success are the by products of passion shown for a chosen sport at an early age. The levels of commitment and sacrifice needed to become a professional athlete go far beyond those needed to achieve success in most professions.  Passion must come before success.
